Our Story
Finishing Touch Painting was founded in 2021 by Michael Sliwa. Michael grew up working alongside his father in the trades across South Central Alaska. From a young age, he learned the value of hard work, clean execution, and taking pride in what you build. That upbringing stuck with him.
At just 20 years old, Michael turned that passion into a business. It started as a leap of faith. Today, it’s a company he’s genuinely proud of — one built on doing things right, treating customers well, and never cutting corners.
Five years later, Finishing Touch Painting is a trusted name across the Mat-Su Valley and Anchorage area. The work speaks for itself, but the relationships built along the way mean the most.

We believe a paint job is only as good as the prep work behind it. That’s why we show up on time, communicate clearly, and leave every space cleaner than we found it. When someone trusts us with their home, we take that seriously.
